Start of a New Season 2014-15
The Strathclyde Chamber Choir is glad to announce the start of a new season. Upcoming highlights include a Shakespeare concert, a double cathedral tour to Liverpool, and a West End Festival concert featuring Eastern European and Russian music.
We are also inviting applications for new singers, please contact the conductor to arrange an audition.
Lincoln Cathedral Tour
The Choir was in residence at Lincoln Cathedral from Friday 4th to Monday 7th April 2014. We participated in 4 evensongs, a eucharist, and a mattins over the course of 4 days, and performed music by MacMillan, Gibbons, Sumsion, Near, Stopford, Rose, White, Amner, Wood, Tallis, Antognini, Howells, and Stanford. We are grateful to Lincoln Cathedral for the opportunity to sing in a truly impressive location.
