On Saturday 18 February the choir is pleased to be presenting a concert in aid of Lepra, the charity that has been fighting leprosy and other tropical diseases since 1924.
We will be singing a topical mix of the love poetry of Burns, Shakespeare, King Solomon and others, set to music by Vaughan Williams, John Rutter, Edward Bairstow, Hamish MacCunn, George Gershwin and Charles Trenet – something for everyone!
The concert takes place at Shawlands Church, 5 Moss-side Road, Glasgow G41 3TP and starts at 7.30 pm. Refreshments will be available in the interval.
Tickets are £8 (£6 for students and the unemployed) and are available on the door and here.
